It’s that time again!   The Hope Township School Band is looking for new members.  Students may begin playing a band instrument as early as the fourth grade.  Lessons will begin in October. Stop in to see Ms. Seidel to find out how you can join the band.

Students in grades K-4 general music classes are singing, playing instruments, and performing movements to music.  The third grade will begin to learn note reading as we prepare to play the recorder.  Students in grades five through eight general music classes will open the new school year with a review lesson on note reading, then continue to explore such topics as music composition, music history, music and technology, and music listening.   They will also have opportunity to participate in several of the performance ensembles offered at Hope School.
