This quote expresses my vision for Hope Township School
District. I believe from my
conversations with teachers & staff that everyone at Hope School has the
creative ability to impact the students entrusted to us.
It is our teachers’ intention to craft that learning by painting in a
multitude of colors that are as varied as the students that they teach, not just
in one color for all students. They
believe that it is not enough to just put forth knowledge but to challenge
students to question and think about their learning from every angle possible.
They realize that they are sculpting each student to embrace the future by
crafting learning that is as individualized as the students themselves.
Teachers and staff alike understand that they must use many tools and
techniques to construct the foundation for our students’ learning since our
opportunities last for only nine years and our students leave Hope School as an
unfinished work of art. It
is our hope, that in these critical years, we infuse such desire for learning
that the masterpiece evolves as its life progresses.
If we accomplish that, then we truly have created an exquisite collection
of original works.
